Close your eyes... you walk in and are greeted by 6 tables surrounded by an aura of whimsy the owner, friendly and eccentric takes you to the table and explains the menu: Fondu and meat. What’s not to love? The service is impeccable, the owner going above and beyond, going out of his way to give each table a magical card performance. The food is amazing, the fondue a mixture of cheeses that dance along the tongue tantalising tastebuds in a way I didn’t think was possible. BOTTOM LINE: EAT HERE NOW!!!

We had a fantastic time at Bistrot Walluc. Set menu was fantastic and the fondue was some of the best we’ve had. The restaurant is cosy and food is great value for London (a hidden gem!). The owner of the restaurant is wonderful and welcoming - we enjoyed the card tricks and conversation!

Mad, fun, lovely, what an experience! In Shoreditch you often pay a lot to have forgettable food and chilly service. Not at Bistro Walluc. The food is plain fare (cold cuts - good, melted cheese - good, potatoes - good), and the drinks menu is fairly basic, but what sets this place apart is the owner and his genuine desire for you to have a great night. Imagine your Italian uncle is looking after you for the weekend and he’s feeding you from his own cupboard (it just happens to be the tastiest cheeses), he’s giving you limoncello shots, and he’s doing close up magic tricks (yes this happened). My friend and I had both had a pretty rubbish week at work and this felt like a bit of soul food. Leave your London cynicism at the door and embrace the Bistro. I’ll be coming back.

A really special evening at Bistrot Walluc! Amazing food and service. An intimate unassuming gem of a venue. It did take a minute to find and we arrived before they were open after booking online. However a quick text message to the number on google revealed someone was about to open up. We were promptly seated and shown the set menu which we ordered. I think theres another review we read about them not serving food but they definitely do and it is exactly the menu on my review and online. We chose the red wine, a very reasonably priced but quality italian wine and were served charcuterie (meats, gerkins and cheese) with bread and a soft cheese and honey dip. This was followed by fondue, bread and potatoes and finished with a shot of ameretto. Cannot wait to return again and enjoy the amazing food wine and atmosphere. I feel lucky to have found such a hidden gem!

Fantastically quirky bistro. We had the fondue and the cheese was delicious, as were the accompanying meats and bread. Something very different and the interior decor and offbeat events that they hold here make it a place worth travelling to. The owner is a nice guy too and a friendly chat.

Bistrot Walluc is as authentic as any fondue could be, served along with nice aperitivos from Italy, and wine of course. The style of the place, the music, and the art works create a magnificent environment even in a rainy day... Thank you so much for that wonderfull night!

Hands on my favourite place in East London! Not only the food is banging, is paradise for cheese lovers but you also step into a different world. Luca the owner is one of a kind, you will feel at home here, warm welcome, jokes and cards tricks performed by him! Helen is also very sweet and always getting back to you super quick, she is a star! The fondue is magic, it feels like a warm, melted cuddle The decor is crazy, it might looks like a bunch of random stuff but is not, they are all connected and telling a story. They also do comedies, gig and tarot readings night, do not miss a visit to Walluc- you won’t regret it! also they are pet friendly
